Company: Seco Tools UK Ltd
Company profile: A leading global manufacturer and supplier of high performance cutting tools used by manufacturers in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and oil and gas general engineering industries.
Seco Tools UK was using brown paper void fill to protect goods in transit, however the solution wasn’t working. The team at Seco Tools didn’t feel that the current packaging supported the high quality of the products they supplied or their premium brand.
The Seco Tools team wanted to improve their overall customer experience by updating the packaging to something that appeared professional, clean and smart. In addition, Seco Tools were looking to enhance packaging quality and effectiveness by reviewing the materials they were using.
After a door drop by the local Network Packaging sales representative, Seco Tools went to look at the website and discovered Airsac – our inflatable packaging system. This led to them getting in touch.
A face to face demonstration was arranged, so Seco Tools could experience the benefits Airsac offers first hand. As well as offering drop protection from up to 1.2m, Airsac also offered the aesthetic that Seco Tools were looking for – modern, professional and high quality. Plus, the extensive stock range already available meant that the Seco Tools team could start using Airsac straight away.
“All of the Seco Tools UK Ltd customers have commented that the new Airsac packaging looks much more professional – matching the high quality products they’re buying. The new packaging also instils our customers with the confidence that their goods will arrive safely, as the packs are robust.
Seco Tools UK Ltd has the peace of mind that we can supply a component to a customer safely using Airsac. Plus it’s great that it saves storage space and fits with our high quality image!
We’d be happy to recommend the Airsac system to any of our customers and we’d also recommend Network Packaging as a supplier.” Tim Ward – Warehouse Team Leader & Facilities Assistant
